The Clinton County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, December 7, at Cooters’s Bar and Grill, 123 E. Main Street, Elsie, Michigan. Social time is slated from 6:00-7:00 pm, followed by the business meeting at 7pm.
The evening will be highlighted by Ms. Dana Nestle, Democratic candidate for Secretary of State; those in attendance will have an opportunity to meet the candidate and to ask questions. Following a short business meeting will be held. Area Democrats are encouraged to attend to share ideas and to discuss current political issues.
Food and drinks will be available from the menu.
Date: Wednesday, December 6, 6 PM – 8 PM
A fun gathering to get to know other area Democrats, share ideas about issues you may be concerned about, enhance networking of those with similar ideals, and a positive environment to share your frustrations and concerns.
Light snacks and soft drinks will be provided. Other beverages can be purchased individually.
On August 4th and 5th the CCDP will be at the Bath Days events participating with the festivities. We’ll have a tent and we’ll be listening and talking with anyone who wants to share more about how the local Democrat party can help represent all of us better. We also need a few volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly. You can find the schedule here. If you can help us out, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Greetings fellow Clinton County Democrats,
Laurie Bechhofer and Johanna Balzer will be hosting a fundraiser for John Austin, who is running for reelection to the State Board of Education. As the President of the State Board of Education, John Austin has been a tremendous leader in education, helping to close the achievement gap, support safe schools, and to make quality education accessible to all. Unfortunately, his opponents for the State Board of Education are trying to dismantle public education in the state of Michigan.
Below, you can find a link that will allow you to download the flier for this event that has further details regarding the fundraiser. It will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the home of Ron and Johanna Balzer, 3450 Clark Road, Bath from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Please RSVP to attend. Suggested donation amounts are $50, $100, or $250. Donors can bring checks with them made out to Austin for Michigan, or they can give online at this event-specific link: https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/clintoningham. If you are unable to attend the fundraiser, you can still donate to Austin for Michigan at the link.
If you have questions you can contact Johanna Balzer or Laurie Bechhofer directly via the phone number and emails found on the .pdf flier, which can be downloaded from here: Austin for Michigan Flier
We hope to see you there!
